I've wondered about that aqua guy too. He says he gets $10,000 for a mantel from one of his logs, which I have allot of trouble believing. I know there are those who spend stupid money, but usually it's when buying from a name designer or artist. This guy is a bafoon. The wood is pretty when he slices it in half with his chainsaw, but I just don't believe any of the numbers he's tossing out.
As for OCC, I think the show jumped the shark when Vinnie left. I liked what he did and how he grounded Sr and Jr. They would be off acting the fool while Vinnie would be left building the bike and making it work. I wish Vinnie would get his own show, but don't know if it would be good TV or not. I like to see things be created and go from start to finish. The antics are a distraction from what's interesting.
I saw last night where they laid that kid off. It just makes me wonder how tight things are getting for them and if they took on too much debt with their overseas expansion? Is there really a market for choppers overseas? When I've traveled, I've seen allot of scooters, but never anything more then 100cc. I was told the government taxes motorcycles on their size and it gets very expensive to have anything bigger then a scooter.
If the show goes off the air, and I sort of get the feeling that's where it's headed, then the OCC name recognition will disappear with it. You can tell by the bikes they are doing that the big money builds has dried up. A Hippie chopper? What's with that? I bet any high school kid could have done that bike just as well.
I'm still hoping for a show with tractors and country living!!!
