Nx6010 check engine light ?

I have a nx6010 cab. Is it normal for the check engine light to come on when it's cold out, but after about a min it goes out? Thanks

Yes it is....make sure you treat the diesel for winter temperatures. What you have described normally happens if the fuel has trouble getting though the fuel filter. It will cause the fuel rail pressure to drop enough to light the CEL. Keep the diesel treated and the problem will go away.

I do treat the fuel, but maybe I need to do more.

You running 15 40 oil or 5 40 in cold temp oil is real thick in sub 0 temps. I run 5 40 all year in my trucks and tractors. Oil pressure comes up quicker.
