Good question! Doesn't hold water and a lot less likely to slice a horse or dog shin with both edges down. (animals always seem to get loose and ALWAYS do stupid things:))

Thanks. I tend to park stuff with as little cylinder rod exposed as possible which can lead to standing water when left outside and more than one busted shin... Not sure if protecting my cylinder rods at the expense of legs is worth it or not.
