many a 2wd tractor has been able to walk themselves out of swamps. I wouldn't use trees as long as this guy did and ratchet straps versus chains is a modern day quick improvement over chains. Slow and steady for safety.

of course its wickedly dangerous.... we can note that there is not much in life thats not dangerous when undertaken by the foolish or done without due care and caution.

Have you tried working your self out with the bucket? It does appear to be sunk that deep. If it's a traction issue; you might be able to push your self backward with the loader/bucket.

Well, I pushed it a little too far. May have to hire a dozier.
Although if I could walk I'd use chains and trees with the loader to get the tractor out.

From the picture, I can't get the nitty gritty detail of how bad this is, I did similar while having my home built a few years ago and we had a lot of rain that year. Fortunately a big Cat track steer was on the property and he pulled me out.

My brother in law got stuck and used logs on his tires like this, said it worked great.

At this point I have the shredder disconnected. If and when I get the tractor out I will then worry bout getting the shredder out.
I need to put out a round bale of hay out tomorrow. I guess I'll have to ask for a favor from a neighbor.

I got stuck. I drove across this two days before pulling 14’ stock trailer with wild hogs in it I had trapped. But with box blade on the back it dug in and sank it quick. I finally pulled truck around to the front of tractor, couldn’t pull it out backward. I used 60’ of chain, hooked to trailer bal on truck, tilted bucket over all the way, hooked chain to it and then curled bucket opposite. Moving 6” every time and about 4 hours later I got it out, only knocked one front tire off bead. My tractor starts right up when cold but once I run it for a while if I shut it off it will not start. I also am still finding dirt, I am going to start by taking all the electrical connections off the starter and battery and clean really good and see if that will fix that, along with pressure washing again under the bottom. Tractor does not over heat, something up with starter or battery.
