Wait, is this right? All the "keys" are the same? Hmmm...maybe THAT's why I didn't need to leave my key for the dealer when he came to transport my 2320 back to the shop. He said he "had a master key" but I had no idea that it meant "they're all the same."

It reminds me of the pre-1974 BMW motorcycles. All of them used a thing that looked like a nail with groves in it to turn the ignition on and off. Having one meant that you could start ANY BMW motorcycle from the 1940's to 1973.

I haven't seen anyone mention it here, but you have a spin-knob valve for hydraulic flow directly below the seat. As you are sitting on the tractor see, look down between your legs and you will see the black knob.

You may have your valve set wide open, which I have found is too much for the backhoe, although I haven't found the loader to be as sensitive to valve adjustment. I close mine all the way (to shut off the hydraulics entirely) and then open it back up a half-turn. Play with the setting until the loader responds the way you expect.

I grew up on big tractors, and none of them have this little valve, so I have found it useful right from the get-go.

That knob is the "rate of drop" knob for the 3PH, all it does is control how fast hydraulic fliud escapes the internal rockshaft cylinder. It has no control over the speed of anything other than how fast the 3PH falls depending of the weight of the implement attached to it.

Yup, that is correct, they are all the same!
