I have checked for and have fuel to injection pump, but find that when I remove tubes to injectors I have no fuel delivery. Is it safe to use carb cleaner directly into air intake, to see if it will fire? Also is the pump a problem to remove if that's what I find it to be, do I need a dealer?

Did you bleed it at the fuel filter and at the fuel pump? I have ran out of fuel several times in the 30 + years and never have had to do more. No white smoke out of exhaust means no fuel. I would put some pressure to the fuel tank and make sure you are getting a good flow of fuel.

I'll try some pressure. Good idea, maybe plugged filter.
