Your post is a little confusing. Your bh77 has no seat. Or your tractor does not have a reversing seat?

When I was watching videos of the bh 77 the operator had two seats hop off the one on the tractor step on tire right down into backhoe much easier than reversing the seat.my new b3300 came tonight when I reverse the seat I feel a mile away from the controls .wish the 77 had its own seat. What if I put the hoe on different tractor down the road then what?i want that hoe seat I saw

Ok
That separate seat is what would be on a cabbed model.

I really liked the room for the bh77 platform on my ex B3200. The previous bh65 on my 2620 was really cramped.

Can't you slide the seat close enough to make you more comfortable?

Have you talked to your dealer about a separate seat?

My BH77 has its own seat. I'm 6-2" and its cramped.

It's supposed to come with its own seat. If you Google "Kubota BH77", you get some pictures of what it looks like. The BH seat is back-to-back with the tractor seat, so your head is directly under the ROPS. They are pretty tight for space, so it helps if you're built low to the ground with short legs. Dealer probably has it sitting in the Parts Dept., wondering where it came from.

My BH77 on my B3300 doesn't have it's own seat and I don't want one either. It's an option to have the second seat, not just that the dealer 'forgot to put it on'. I'm 6'2" and have the seat set about mid-way on the slide tracks and happy with it in both forward and swiveled backward. I do a lot of quick stuff (like picking up a single rock) from the forward seated position with just reaching around behind me to run the controls. The flipped up second seat would all but eliminate this possibility.

I have a 3rd party hoe on my B2650 but.....is it possible that the mounting hardware for a BH77 is different depending on whether the tractor is equipped with a factory cab or is open station. The factory cab (which I have) necessitates that the hoe be equipped with its own seat and it would seem to me that the hoe on a cab model needs to extend further back to accommodate the seat and allow clearance to the back of the enclosed cab. Just a guess on my part but if the mounts are different then you (escavader) may have the cab mount hardware..Again just a guess.

I'm about 7 inches shorter and with the seat all the way to the back I cannot sit back and reach the controls.if I have to I'll do my own seat

there looks like enough room for a seat at least for me I'm not that tall .i want to get out of one side step on the tire and sit in the other.constantly flipping the seat is a pain I hated it on the bx and I hate it now

What are you constantly flipping the seat for, re-positioning hoe for trenching or picking up of single rocks/limbs?

I do a lot of trail maintenance for my atv club turning around in my forward facing seat will kill my back in a few hours

While it's worth chasing them up, (because you have the skills to make your own) doing it yourself and getting it exactly where you want it may be a bonus, as the position of the OEM may not be ideal. Good luck with either outcome!

Looking at the hoe picture in your "Super B" post and comparing it to my BH75...it appears that the control levers for the 77 hoe are longer and angled back for the "swivel seat". On my 75 the control levers are straight up for use with the separate hoe seat. I don't think those angled one would work even if you fabricated your own seat assembly. You'd probably have to swap out the levers.

so can someone with the bh 77 with a seat tell me if you have straight or curved levers please

I haven't seen a new 77 with a separate seat. I'd call your dealer and ask him if the 77 is available with a separate seat. If it is, the levers might be swapped out as part of the "hoe seat" option.

Straight here. Separate seat. 6'4" & no way I could operate controls from the seat. Couldn't get my knees far enough apart to clear sticks. Had to fab up new brackets to move seat back about 8". Much better now. It is pretty much impossible to reach hoe controls over flipped seat.
