Nissan excavator

Anyone have any information (weight, etc.) for a nissan sb550 mini-excavator. Found one that looks to be in good condition, but have no weight or other info. Will parts be a problem? It needs some minor oil leaks fixed and other small repairs, but I can pick it up for 9k. Dealer is going to bring it out for a 2-3 week try out. I would guess it to be about a 10k lb. machine. Would like to hear from owner or get any info I can before I make a purchase.

That is about right. For most of the products made in the far east the weight in metric tons is embedded somewhere in the model designation. For example, a Yanmar B50 weighs approximately 5 metric tons, a Komatsu PC40 about 4 metric tons, a Mitsubishi WS200 loader about 2 metric tons, etc.
