Nimco Controls freezing

I have a nimco joy stick also and on mine there is a lock out feature . I've had issues where the phillips screw that tensions this lock out has loosened and caused a jambing effect like the issue you are describing. I've also had ice and debris jamb it up too.Try pulling up the rubber boot and look inside the the joystick base ?

Thanks J J for all the info. I really appreciate all the help. I have looked through all the schematics and haven't seen anything on how the cable connects to the end of the spool.

Is there a locking lug on your lever assembly and is it adjusted correctly.

Ok. I have taken the cable off the spool. The spool moves freely on it's own, so the problem can't be there. I have used the heat gun and warmed the cable all the way back to the joystick and that has done nothing to let it free up. After using the heat gun to warm the base of the joystick it started to free up. Wondering if there is some reason it would freeze something where everything connects to the joystick? The tractor has a cab and is stored inside, seems odd for there to be moisture there?
