I picked up a Niagara PTO alternator at a farm auction last week. It is a dual powerhead, 15,000 watt unit and seems to work very well. Ran it today under 30 to 50 amp load (240v) for an hour or so.
Looking for a manual or wiring diagram. Anyone have experience with this unit. Is alternator used in this term the same as generator? I contacted Generac (builder) and was told they had no information. Could this be a spec built unit?

David, I am not familiar with your generator but I do know that Generac sold their portable generator division to Briggs & Stratton a while back. So now there are 2 separate companies building Generac products. Maybe if you tried the other one you might have better luck. I know they both have websites: the Briggs division I think is www.generac_portables.com and the other may be just generac, I'm not sure. Anyway, good luck tracking this down.
