Got my new NX4510 home last week. Got about 8 hrs on it so far and seems like a great tractor. So far my favorite feature is the linked pedal. Over the last years I have had a Bobcat CT440 without and with cab, a Bobcat S750 SSL, a Kioti CK20, JD 1445 mower and just recently the new NX. Going to mount a toolbox today. So far only question I have is my turn signal won't work if the flashers are on, Is this normal for Kioti? Thanks Doug

Welcome to TBN! And the Kioti forums. I believe it is either flashers or turn signal, not both simultaneously. Others may say I'm wrong...

It appears that way but this is the first unit that I have had that is that way.
Thanks for the reply

Congratulations and Welcome, Doug!

My NX4510's turn signals and emergency flashers are the same way. In fact, they use the same lights, with the same flash interval, so I'd say it has to be that way. My trucks and car do the same, BTW.

Curious where you mounted a toolbox on your NX4510 Cab. I couldn't see a good place to do it, so ended up with a 15" canvass tool bag from Harbor Freight under the back of the seat. :) Holds a lot, though.

My suggestion for your next mod is a back-up camera, with a 7" color monitor mounted on your dash, for about $50 all in. Great addition.

Thanks. Unfortunately I have no excuses for a shabby yard.

I would be happy to have your "shabby yard" and shop:)

Nice place, congrats on the new tractor:thumbsup:

Yup, on the CK it's only hazards or flashers, not both. Like that on every other so equipped vehicle I have.
Doesn't the NX come standard with a toolbox?
Nice collection there, I think 3 tractors is considered the minimum to get everything done properly.
Enjoy and :welcome:

I got the toolbox mounted this morning. The fender seems pretty solid and have no reason to believe that the mounting point would fail, but if you wait a while for a report I wouldn't blame you. To answer the question, the NX4510's do not come with a toolbox. I may look at backup camera in the future.

I was moving snow this morning with a 84" snow bucket and found out that I need some rear weight on the tractor, got that ordered today. I'm also going to setup a beacon to offset the flasher / turn signal issue but having trouble finding a part number from Koiti.

Thanks. The CK20 got sent to the airport as a tow and snow removal unit.

Looking forward to what you find out about the beacon accessory. I've thought about adding it, but haven't looked into availability or cost. Do you know if the OEM beacon connector requires a separate relay and switch? I haven't checked. If it's on the same circuit as the emergency flashers, you may have to grab power elsewhere to solve your turn signal issue.

Also interested in a future update on your toolbox mounting solution. With all the stuff I like to carry, I'd worry that it eventually could fatigue the fender material unless there is some way to add reinforcement.

If mounted a toolbox on my DK 45 the stand on the tiller would hit it when raised up. Might watch the clearance with the mounted equipment.

DDT414, just noticed that the SMV sign looks like it has been relocated, or is that where it was when you took delivery? Mine is mounted at the upper left cab corner on a bracket that I think is also the bracket for a beacon. Came that way from the dealer.

Well I'm glad someone said something about that sticker on his box. Need a picture of a Kioti chasing the Deere. Nothing runs like a Deere being chased by a Kioti. :D

My smv was mounted there from dealer. I do also have the bracket to mount it up on cab like you have.

Good point. I check when I get something on the hitch.
