Been riding Craftsman 18/42 of some variety for 30yrs. Bought a used Snapper 20/42 for $800. Hoping to cutting my time in half...

thanks fellas... anyone own one of these little machines?? doesn't appear to be too much maintenance. hydro transaxle are sealed? i didnt see any maintenance requirement on the schedule sheet.

Snapper has been a well respected brand for many years. I don't know if they are still on par with quality with the newer models. It seems that lots of brands no longer last like the old stuff (Maytag appliances for instance) A zero turn will help a lot with mowing around obstacles and such so it should cut your mowing time by some amount, I don't know about the 1/2 though.

I love my ZTR. I have a lot of little obstacles to get around. I use to use my weedeater a lot more than I do now because I can get closer to obstacles.
