they certainly do but you dont see many around. as for the excavators they are everywhere, i have seen so many new ones over the last couple of months due to the end of the financial year i guess. many of the compact tractors are daedongs,mahindras and the like. the larger units are usually that green and yellow mobs also i have noticed a far few hitachi excavators as well.

So it sounds like for compact tractors Daedong and Mahindra are at the top like John Deere and Kubota are here in the U.S. For the larger yellow ones, are they caterpillar challengers? We have those around here, I have drove a 40 hp challenger and it is similar in many ways to a Massey Ferguson. For construction equipment here, i would have to say that I see a lot of Bobcat and Caterpillar mini excavators. Larger ones are commonly Deere, Caterpillar, or Hitachi. Now on my second picture, have you ever seen a Yanmar like that?

yeah similar sized, the go from an EA2400(24 hp) to an EF685(65hp) and all inbetween. that 1110 looks to be about 65 odd hp also. yeah do see a few CAT units around too but not too many as they are alot more expensive than some other brands. a friend of mine has a YUCHAI 5.5 ton excavator and loves it, made in china but has japanese hydraulic pump and drive motors in it powered by a cummins 4 cylinder IIRC.

I have seen some odd-ball tractors around here too. I have even driven a Euro-Trac tractor. It was about 18 hp. Google it, I had never seen one before. It is almost identical to the one in the link.
