The only lead I have found is the company web site which says chck with your dealer in August. It sure will be interesting.

Just saw the new Yanmar Cub at my local dealer this evening. Going to check it out and test drive it in the morning.

They now have the specs for one of the tractors, the Ex3200. I guess I'm a little confused why the 3 point lift @ 24" is only 1100 pounds on a 32 HP, 2550 pound tractor. My 10 y.o. 7234 CC (23 HP Mitsubishi drivetrain) has a 1653 LB lift. It seems like a real low number.

Just remember....this is a contract tractor. A tractor being marketed and sold by an entity OTHER than the manufacturer or the manufacturer's subsidiary. Look closely at the history of contract tractors and how well (or not) they are supported when the contract ends. Lots of people looking for parts for the Hinomoto and Iseki made Agcos and Masseys of the late 80s, early 90s. Same with those made for Simplicity and White. Early Ford compacts (made under contract by Shibaura), notably the 1600, have become all but impossible to parts source. Call some JD dealers and ask them to be candid about the parts situation for their 50 series (650, etc) of first compacts.

We are getting calls from JD dealers looking for parts from OUR grey market Yanmar sources in the hope they can match some to some of the JD 50 series. Who'd a thunk it?

Very true, but I think it applies to just about every compact tractor now with the global (disposable) market where very few manufacturers build all their equipment under their own roof anymore. And that is the by-product of it, where you spent a small fortune on a tractor that you planned to keep for 30+ years, but end up struggling to find parts 10 years later or you just get rid of the thing. Cub has used so many different outsource names it's hard to keep track of them- Daedong, Mitsubishi, Yanmar, Kubota, Diahatsu, etc. They probably would have been better off just designing and building their own CUT's years back, would have made things less confusing, probably resulted in better tractors, and kept more Americans employed.

The interesting thing is the one very notable exception.....grey market yanmars. Enough of many of the models have been imported and sold (apparently many more than most or all of the contract tractors I referenced above) to attract the attention of aftermarket parts suppliers. We now have a 158 page aftermarket parts catalog for our grey yanmars with things from headlight bulbs to head gaskets, pistons, rings, pumps, seals, sleeves, etc.; even new grills and headlight assemblies for some models....and this will only grow as sales grow. These 25-30 year old tractors are probably the best supported on the planet due to plain old supply and demand.

WGHickory, did you ever go to your dealer and check on the new Yan/Cub?

It's a fact that most all compacts will be orphaned in some way shape or form.
The exception, which is ironic, is the Yanmar.
I have found parts from every make and model that you can't get parts for.
Doesn't matter who made it.
Yanmar is only one that has had a strong enough following to warrant anyone going out and getting aftermarket parts made for it.

As for the new model I'm actually a little disappointed.
It's not quite as impressive as I figured it would be.

As far as specs go.
32 hp-Not bad
1100 lb 3pt lift-a bit light
900lb loader-a bit light
9.9 GPM hydro pump-a bit lacking
1/4"ing valve on 3pt-go to the K*bota forum-They all HATE it
6.3 gal fuel tank-not impressive

Now before everyone jumps on me about "picking it apart",
I think Yanmar-the company-not the "in cooperation with" product is absolutely amazing and truly major innovators in the compact tractor realm.

I guess I was expecting something that would just BLOW AWAY everyone else.
