Both, compared to my old JD which had painfully slow hydraulics the XJ is quick and jerky. It’s a learning process, also if not needing the extra RPMs, I’ll lower them a bit and it’s easier to get the hang of it.

I have a 2017 model, great tractor. The hydraulics are fast on mine as well.

I turned mine up a bit, seems better.

I've had one of those with a backhoe for a few years now and am very pleased with it. Just have to remember that its just a wheelbarrow and shovel on steriods and not a commercial hoe. Fantastic for the small jobs and can get bigger ones done if you have the time.
