I bought a box scrape as well. I've only used a blade scrape in the past, so I need to learn how to use the new one. I did a search over in the Kubota using forum, but didn't see anything there. Anybody know where to go find some reading material on this?

I think you'll be happy with that setup. If you plan on keeping it for a long time you'll be very thankful that you got the GST. Not that the DT is bad.

There is a lot of info on TBN but this device has many common names, most of which start with "box": box blade, box scraper, etc.. So you have to search on several names:(

As promised, here is a pic of my new tractor. I took some others, but they came out a little fuzzy. I had company all weekend, but I managed to get a couple of hours in using the tractor. Man is this nice compared to my old tractor. Real finesse with the scraper and hydraulics and the loader is a real man toy. I'm looking for projects now.

That is one gorgeous tractor!

IMHO the GL3240 the best looking and best value Kubota yet.

I wasn't going to say anything but...

What was Kubota thinking when they got in bed with Land Pride and didn't specify Kubota orange or a 50% discount -- buyer's choice

You're a long way from an AC WD. Congratulations and Merry Christmas you're going to have fun now!

Any of you guys have any idea what I should ask for my AC WD? It needs tires and some body work, but runs good. I have another AC WD that does not run for parts, a plow, disk, scrape and log splitter. I was thinking of asking $2000. What do you think?

Dave, $2K for a working tractor and a bunch of implements is way low. I'd start at $3K for tractor, and add in some money for each implement. Tools that work are worth some money.
