Working on getting prices also, this gets very confusing so I just noticed you didn't list the model numbers so I'm guessing both dealers listing the same FEL. I had one dealer list the smaller LA302 FEL and the other was listed the LA352 for a b7610.

I didn't ask for filled, just inquired about the R4 tires. He just threw that in the quote assuming I wanted it. I have the same concerns with the filled tires for mowing since it would be the mainstay of the tractors work. I have no problem with filling them myself if I see the need later. I am assuming that the price second dealer shot me was for one of the units they have on the lot that is already set up.
I have to call to check on the lowest quote to see what tires are included with the package. We didn't get into many options or "extras" when I checked with them. I am assuming that the tires are regular turfs. I do plan to follow up with the options that I would like to see what the final breakdown will be in the end.

No, they are the appropriate model for the tractor. I checked to make sure it was the 302 for the 7510, 352 for the 7610 and 402 for the 7800. (Unless there is a mistake on them looking up the prices) I believe all of them have the same 60"mmm though, but it may be a different model for the 7800. The 7800 can also handle the 72" deck and they said it would be about $500 extra.
I also check on the 72"RMM and it would be $1758 if I choose to go with it instead.

Good, I just wanted to make sure it is apples to apples. It looks like I'm buying this weekend if all goes as planned. Still debating MMM vs RMM.

As of right now B7610 with filled R4, 60" mmm, and a FEL.

I hope the CFO keeps the green light on. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

jheady -

Just to throw my lot in with the rest of the folks - the quote from "Dealer 1" is awesome. Regional differences aside - and not necessarily taking increased steel prices into account - I paid nearly $2K more than that (no regrets! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif ) - and with a 54" MMM vs your 60".

RUN! Don't walk! & buy that 'Bota! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Btw - I don't have filled tires - I did get the Kubota "Weight Box" - but hate messing with the 3PH set-up. So I just have a "weighted pallet" that I pick up with my 3PH forks.

I remove "everything" for mowing - and while it is possible to leave a track if you have any low-lying "soggy areas" of your lawn - I find my R4s don't hurt the turf - as long as you take cornering easy & keep it out of 4WD.

Best of luck with whatever you choose!

Dan

just an update.

I haven't bought a tractor yet, things are kinda on hold for the time being. The neighbor right behind my property has put his up for sale so I have been looking at it instead. It is 16.37 acres that connects to my 5 and to another road. (I would rather have the land than the pole barn and tractor if I could swing it.) I know if I do buy the property I will probably need a bigger tractor than I originally thought, so I am falling back to see what turns out. I think the neighbor is "fishing" right now because his price to out of sight and twice the going rate of land in our area and his property accessment. He knows I am interested, but not at that price. I know if I get the 16 ac. I won't have to worry about someone builidng right behind me anytime soon.

I do appreciate all the insight and help that has been given so far. I will try to keep everyone updated.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Good luck on the additional acreage. Owning land is good. And they're not making any more of it.
