Great looking truck..Well, I asked you guys about a High Country diesel a few months ago--had a tuner etc. Decided against it (good advise, by they way) Spent my usual stupid amount of time deciding on what to do. After towing (again) from the mountains and thinking I'm gonna die, I bought a new GMC 2500 Duramax. So far I like it even though it's only been a couple of days. Wife says I better like it. She took off in it as soon as I got home and she seems to be OK with it

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I try to keep space open in the garage mainly for the wife's truck, but I can still put mine in there.

You'll love the L5P Duramax. With the integrated exhaust brake and tow haul mode on I go down 12% grades towing a 16k lb 5th wheel camper without having to touch the brakes.
And going up the grade I'm holding the speed limit at under 2k RPM

i have a '15 half ton. I love the crew cab and 6.5 bed combo. next one could be a 3/4. the half did tow about 7k from Michigan to Colorado with no trouble a couple weeks ago though!
