New Truck

Well, I asked you guys about a High Country diesel a few months ago--had a tuner etc. Decided against it (good advise, by they way) Spent my usual stupid amount of time deciding on what to do. After towing (again) from the mountains and thinking I'm gonna die, I bought a new GMC 2500 Duramax. So far I like it even though it's only been a couple of days. Wife says I better like it

. She took off in it as soon as I got home and she seems to be OK with it

. Haven't pulled anything with it yet but it's growing on me.

Very nice truck. Friend has one and been very pleased with it tow capabilities and fuel economy both non-towing and towing. Towing heavy and in mountains you get spoiled with the HD diesel Pickup capabilities. Enjoy

Pretty truck. Durmax seems to be holding on to a good reputation. I see one problem in that picture. Looks way to organized in there.

Thanks..Couldn't do black anymore with a 1/4 mile gravel driveway..So red it is. The wife likes the colror, so all good.

Thanks--Done with black..Live on a gravel road so that color doesn't work well.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I try to keep space open in the garage mainly for the wife's truck, but I can still put mine in there.

You'll love the L5P Duramax. With the integrated exhaust brake and tow haul mode on I go down 12% grades towing a 16k lb 5th wheel camper without having to touch the brakes.

And going up the grade I'm holding the speed limit at under 2k RPM

Very nice.

i have a '15 half ton. I love the crew cab and 6.5 bed combo. next one could be a 3/4. the half did tow about 7k from Michigan to Colorado with no trouble a couple weeks ago though!
