They delivered my 4820R yesterday. I sold my Mahindra 1640 just over a year ago. Regretted it shortly after. I really like the 4820R. Definitely rides much better with a suspension seat versus the Mahindra 1640 lol.

The owners manual says to use 10w-40 engine oil. All the tractors I’ve had before was 15w-40. I’m assuming the TYM Branded oil is 10w-40?

I have the exact same model. I bought mine in the Fall, and primary purpose is pulling a mower, so I don't have many hours on it yet. Looking forward to putting it to work before long.

Same thing for the 21.5hp Yanmar in my T224. Per TYM's oil selection chart, 10w30 and 5w30 offer the widest range. I went with a valvoline diesel synthetic blend 10w30 @ 10hrs and plan to change it again at 30hrs. Not sure what I'm going to use yet. My little fella only holds 2qts.

No Turbo on it. It’s the Kukje Diesel in it. I believe the 5520 is a turbo.

I’ve have two Mahindra tractors. Max 28XL and a 1640. I can’t say a bad word about either one. Both were great machines. I really liked the 1640, but no suspension seat was horrible lol. Rough riding for sure. I really like the kukje diesel engines and the DPF isn’t computer controlled

Ok, I’m not having much luck finding 10w-40 diesel oil. I haven’t checked the dealer yet for the TYM branded. I’m assuming 5w or 15w ?. I live in Tennessee if that matters. It’s gets pretty warm here

I used t6 5w-40 in my 5520
The first number is the cold weight the second number is the hot weight.
So 5,10,15 is how easy it'll flow in the cold.
Then the 30 or 40 number is how it'll act when it's hot.

I rarely use mine in Winter. So I’ll probably go with 15w-40 Mobil Delvac extreme full synthetic and Mobile Delvac tractor hydraulic fluid. How do like your 5520?

170hrs and the only complaint is a screw fell out of the shifter so the knob is loose. Sometime I'll remember to get a new screw for it.
It's much cushier to use than my old Ford 850, with the 5520 having AC, power steering, and a loader.

Excellent Choice in a new tractor.

Love the look on the 4820 with beefy AG R1's.

If you ever get in deep mud you will be happy to have them.
