New Tractor

Merry Christmas everyone its been awhile since I have been on but I just bought a new tractor it is a JD M 40T Tricycle not sure about the year It's aroud 1949 - 1955 but not sure I can't read the tags. But I'm in the processes of rebuilding it and re-painting it I will post pics when I can

I do have one question Can I install a remote hydraulics in the back it has a dual Touch-o-matic on it

Here are some pics of the tractor it is a model MT I have the serial Number so I should be able to find the year of it

Wonderful little tractor. The ex, her mom and I rescued their ‘49 MT in the mid 1980’s. Had local Deere dealer do the rebuild and added a Prince valve so I could brush hog with it. Did the bodywork myself, remember having the fuel tank lined. Loved that tractor. My ex BIL has it and it was still running last I knew. Could probably get you some pics if you have questions.

That would be great there is a couple of items that the previous owner had on it but It did not show in the parts manual and for the dual touch -o-matic is different than what's in the manual I think that he changed it but I will change it back he has it in the center of the seat instead of off to the right. I'm thinking of joining the Two cylinder club maybe they can research the serial number and let me know what year the tractor is
