A log arch will move large stems with minimal hp and they are also much safer than on the 3 pt.

If you have a Massey dealer nearby, go check out a 1726E.

I have a ck2510. I am amazed at what I can lift with the FEL and move with the tractor! Thing is a tank!

Regarding the pond and wet ground. Before you dig make sure the area is not a protected wet land. You can get in a lot of trouble if you start messing with those.

All great points. Thank you!

We built on the lot a few years ago and I dont recall any restrictions on the land. Its not even considered flood plain for some reason. FEMA must've been asleep.

Would anyone consider the new CK30s or CK35's that are 75 miles away? Same size chassis as L2501 or CK2610 but pre tier 4 final. I think I am attracted to getting a bargain here but not sure I need the HP for what I want to do. Only PTO HP req is to pull a RC or maybe run a chipper. I just worry that its too far for dealer support and since I am new to this--it might be nice to have dealer closer. But the allure of being able to pull a brand new, over 26 HP tractor without emissions stuff is appealing.

Kioti makes excellent tractors. Tractor weight is your friend. How do you feel about Kioti dealer's survivability?

Though I am on my third tractor, second new Kubota, I like having the Kubota dealer six miles away. I am old. I grease the tractor. I fuel the tractor. For everything else I call Kubota and say: COME AND GET IT.

Jeff- thats sort of where my thinking lies. Need to be honest with myself and I think I will have the dealer do most of the maintenance for me. I just dont have much free time and any that I do have I would like to be using the tractor. Thanks again.
