Haneys used to carry the Kiotis but they have not had one since AGCO came out with their line of compacts. When I was at Haney's Saturday they still had Kioti brochures but not one on the lot.

If you thought the Kubota loader was nice, it would be worth your time to see the Century C-50, You won't beleave it unless you see it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif You will also see why the 2535 is almost 1000 lbs more then the ST35 or ST35X. Good luck

Tractors4u,

So what did they do,, swap out Kioti for Agco /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif It doesn't do you any good to go to a dealer and they do not have one tractor for you to look at /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif.

I'm not familar with the Agco brand, but it looks like a decent tractor. Is it hydro?

Haneys was an Allis Chalmers dealer when I was growing up. Allis was added to the AGCO line which now includes Massey, Gleaner, Hesston and a few others. When Allis became AGCO, AGCO did not have a compact tractor line. I think Haneys picked up Kioti to have a compact line to offer. When AGCO compacts showed up at their lot I stopped seeing Kioti. The ST35X is not hydro, it has a shuttle shift. The ST35 is the hydro version. I am sticking with hydro/gear for my needs.

Brent,
After comparing the AGCO vs MF prices you got, it looks like the price for the MF may be for a tractor the dealer had in stock before February this year. The MF's that hit dealer lots after Feb. had quite a bit of price decrease of a $1K to as much as $2K with a loader. You might check on another one or have the dealer price you a new one to order. Now the folding ROPS is standard even on the V's. This is as of about the last month.

Thanks for the tip. The 1433V I looked at had regular ROPS, not folding.

It includes the Massey loader.

In February when the price change took effect, they were shipping the standard ROPS. It was approximatively a month ago that they started adding the folding ROPS to the V's.

I talked to another Massey dealer about 40 miles away and they had the newer Massey and they were about $300 cheaper. Folding ROPS doesn't matter to me. I really don't see needing them at this time. Is there anything else different?

The only things that I can thing of now are, the folding ROPS, the rubber floor mat and the round PTO knob instead of the toggle type.

This one has the rubber floor mat and the yellow PTO knob as does the AGCO ST35X that I drove this evening. The floor mat had a tendency to slip around a bit. I believe if I got one I would take it to one of these spray in bedliner places and have them sppray the floor board.

Yes, the yellow knob is the new one. The mat slides some, but not very much in use.

I highly recommend the Century / Branson (they're the same tractor) lines. I just spent the last 2 months researching and studying tractors (I'm an engineer and have to really take things apart to be satisfied) After serious comparisons I bought a brand new Century 3647. It's a large 4 wheel drive with a 47 horsepower Cummins diesel. The tractor actually came with the same yanmar engine used in the john deere 4710 series tractor, but they just upgraded to the Cummins which is pretty bulletproof. I bought it from a dealer in the Houston area, and paid about 14,000 for (no loader no attatchments, just the tractor). I think it is on of the most powerful, heavy, and easy to operate tractors on the market.
It is made by Kukje out of Korea, and they're the ones who make the John Deere also, so don't be fooled into paynig more for the green paint.
