New tractor ready for some snow

I had an old fisher plow laying around, so I mounted it to my new tractor. Snow coming tomorrow, I'll give it a try and see how it compares to the F350.

I like the plow on my tractor. Does a much better job cleaning the driveway than the plow on the truck. Much easier to maneuver than the truck too.
Nice Camaro in the garage too. I've got a 57 Chevy Sedan delivery.

Of course I don't have the nice heated cab like your rig has!

I think the maneuverability and visibility of the tractor will be a big help. If it's nasty cold and windy, I'll likely fire up the F350. I don't yet have the third function hydraulics hooked up for angling the blade.

You can get a cab that will at least get you out of the wind and add a heater. I had one of these with glass front window and the heater for my Mahindra 2615. By the way, it took me almost 45 years before I could afford a tractor with a cab.

If your tractor has a rear remote you can buy hoses and fittings and run them to the front under the tractor to operate the angle function.

If your R4 tires are anything like mine, you won't move much snow without chains if you have any ice underneath. My 3/4 ton truck will plow the driveway with ease in the ice, but my dam tractor won't hardly move itself on ice, muchless do any work. I love my tractor, but hate the R4's in the ice.

The plow on the tractor didn't work too well. As I don't yet have the tilt hydraulics hooked up, I could only push straight and this was a deep heavy snow. The F350 had a hard enough time pushing the stuff and that weighs over 7,000 lbs. I did have fun playing with the loader cleaning up the edges.
