New Tractor Purchase....Finally!!!!!!

After a very long and exhaustive process I finally stopped researching and pulled the trigger today. I bought a Cub Cadet 5234 Diesel, 4wd, 60" MMM, bar tires for $9700 out the door with free delivery and no sales tax.

My closest Cub dealer did not carry the 5000 series, the second closest Cub dealer had one 5000 series covered in road grime and would not let me take the tractor off of the parking lot for a good demo run. I found a dealer in PA and VA (thanks to another forum member). The VA dealer gave me the best price but isquite a distance from me. The PA dealer was slightly more $ but close enough to service my tractor. He was very professional, let me take out the tractor for a complete demo, and has lots of Cub Cadet inventory to look at. His store is really dedicated to Cub Cadet. Cub is his main line of equipment, not just a sideline brand. I was impressed.

My local Cub dealer is a joke. I can't even get him to get any brochures for the larger CUT's. I guess he's just happy dealing with riding mowers. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

There is a dealer about a 1/2 hour drive from me that I want to check out. I've been driving by his place for a couple of years, but never gave him much thought because he was operating out of an old Dairy Queen kind of building. Then one day I see a brand new building, about 3 times the size of his previous building, with 6 or 7 CUTS and the whole line up of Cub inventory sitting out front! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
