New tractor owner

Hi everyone.

Reading around forums last few weeks, and joined up. Found a lot good info, and friendly people. I ordered a MF 1529 last week. Got 8x8 shuttle trans, FEL, BH, 60" geardrive tiller. Looking forward to working the tractor. Should be ready this week. Having to wait for the BH to come in.

Started out looking to move up from a 1981 JD 216 that my grandfather purchased new. It has mower, tiller, front blade, plow. Was looking at bx25, gc2600. Didn't like the Kb hyrdo reverse pedal setup, over the mf. Took the wife to see, and got told no to both lol. I was told I needed to go bigger. Even talked the dealers into agreeing with her. Came to l2800 vs 1529. Drove both. The mf was just more user friendly to me. The mf dealer also moved price, couple with better interest rate.

That is a very nice set up. Been looking at Massey for a while. We have a good dealer not far away in Ala. Your set up makes me want to at least look again SOON.
