New Tractor Delivered

Took delivery of my new tractor today. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Thanks to everyone who responded to my earlier post on dealer prep, I was able to give the dealer a checklist of items to use in prepping the tractor prior to delivery. Everything seems fine except the throttle linkage is tight. It probably just needs a little lubrication and use.

For those interested in prices, I paid $21,320 for the following:
Kubota L4310HST tractor, ag tires, folding ROPS.
L682 Loader with hooks welded on by dealer.
Befco RSD-172 72" Rotary Cutter.
Delivered to my house - 45 miles.

I hope we have some more nice weather before winter, so I can start on projects with it.

LARRY: congrats on the new machine. sounds like a very nice rig. as for the sticking throttle i had the same problem, just spray the hell out of it and the more u use the tractor the better it will get. also the befco units are very well built, am extremly happy with mine.

Nice machine, I've got it's smaller brother - L3710. I beefed up the FEL with an 8" cutting edge from a skid steer. This really stiffened things up and will extend the life of the bucket. Kubota does not offer a heavy duty bucket for this loader.

The throttle on my L3000 was a little tight at first, however it didn't take long for it to move easier without any lubricant. Enjoy your new tractor you made a great choice.
