Bob, maybe you should read this statement again and reconsider how you respond to a post. This statment is quite hostile, and doesn't live up to your normal posting. It's caused some uncomfortable feelings, and just isn't necessary. John

John, I agree. It was not supposed to be confrontational it was supposed to be a bit humorous, but still interject a dose of reality that people do clean their stalls with tractors.

you would need a tractor small enough to get into a stall, and
you need a tractor big enough to do all the other tasks,sounds like The 2 tractor solution meets your needs. You could go used on one or both tractors
If you don't want to drive into the stall but will drive down the center isle, any "one" tractor in the 30 to 40 hp range will due all the tasks you mentioned

My solution for cleaning the stalls will be to build a muck box 5x3.5x4 with large casters under it, so you can roll it into the stalls. I will be putting pins for 3pt hitch on one side, so that once a week I can haul it to the pile. With that said, I would buy the larger, heavier tractor. You can always find a need for more power and stability. You will rarely find a need for less. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
