Tired of the tiny one. I need a replacement. Where did you guys find a weatherproof toolbox?
I didnt get a "weather proof" one. I just drilled 4 holes in the bottom so an rain that got in would drain right out.Tired of the tiny one. I need a replacement. Where did you guys find a weatherproof toolbox?
I picked mine up from Mills Fleet Farm . It's a regular tractor toolbox .All seems are sealed and is suposed to be weather proof.
Turbo660, did you use the Universal mounting brackets that came with it?I picked mine up from Mills Fleet Farm . It's a regular tractor toolbox .All seems are sealed and is suposed to be weather proof.

Thanks Turbo660. I was also thinking of pulling the hazard refelctive sign off for easier access.nope, just drilled holes to line up with the existing holes in the tractor.
I did make some 1/2" thick spacers to put under it. Given the size of the tool box there are a couple of bolt heads that prevent it from sitting flat on the bottom. Took an old tire and used a 1 1/2" hole saw and drilled through the sidewall.
And for anyone that finds it difficult to access tool boxes behind the seat, just remember the seat flips forward.![]()
Thanks. I'll have to check on that. I never bothered to look.if you have the "slip on" bracket for the SMV sign you can do either - or, or both.
I have found when I am in the tool box a lot, I slip my SMV sign off, it seems to be more convienent
