I didnt get a "weather proof" one. I just drilled 4 holes in the bottom so an rain that got in would drain right out.

I also put 4 spacers under mine to raise it off of the sheet metal so it wouldnt rust, and put rubber bonded washes under them. Got all those off of Mcmaster carr.
I used all 4 holes that are there rather than just the two that the wimpy bobcat tool box used

I use a regular toolbox in an all weather shed.:D. Seriously, I just upsized the tool box on my Kioti. Used a vintage craftsman tool box from the 50's.

I picked mine up from Mills Fleet Farm . It's a regular tractor toolbox .All seems are sealed and is suposed to be weather proof.

I do not want to hijack your thread, but has anyone found a place to put a tool box on a CK20hst? With fuel tank behind the seat and a BH on I am perplexed as to where to put a tool box. I had an ammo box mounted behind he seat on my Chinese tractor, but cannot find a place on this one.

I had to dig a hole in the rain last week and nothing in my tool box got wet so I guess it's weather proof. It's normally in the shed when it's raining but if I had to leave it out more I'd just silicon the seams on the tool box to seal it up alittle better.

Turbo660, did you use the Universal mounting brackets that came with it?

nope, just drilled holes to line up with the existing holes in the tractor.

I did make some 1/2" thick spacers to put under it. Given the size of the tool box there are a couple of bolt heads that prevent it from sitting flat on the bottom. Took an old tire and used a 1 1/2" hole saw and drilled through the sidewall.

And for anyone that finds it difficult to access tool boxes behind the seat, just remember the seat flips forward.:p

Thanks Turbo660. I was also thinking of pulling the hazard refelctive sign off for easier access.

if you have the "slip on" bracket for the SMV sign you can do either - or, or both.
I have found when I am in the tool box a lot, I slip my SMV sign off, it seems to be more convienent

My toolbox hits right against the SMV mount so I think I'm going to use double sided tape and mount to the back of my seat. It should fit just fine and clear the toolbox and still be very visible.

Thanks. I'll have to check on that. I never bothered to look.

finally got the pics of my tool box uploaded, I drilled and attched the SMV bracket to the face of the tool box, it stiffened up the "tinny" toolbox and it also gives me a quick and easy meathod for removing the SMV sign if I want to

My CT235 is getting deliver tomorrow... will this mean I need an upgraded tool box too? :confused3: What do you guys put on it? I have a lot of tools in my garage and it won't fit on any of the tool boxes shown :D
