Finally as an adult, we find ourselves able to purchase an acreage. Even though the mother-in-law has a ranch in a neighbouring province, this we can call our own. I bought a JD 2305 with a belly mount mower and snow-blower (worth it's weight in gold this past winter in Saskatchewan). Later added the FEL and tiller (all JD product which coincidentally is my initials and life long nick name). Lot's of good information I have found here that has helped me out, plus great neighbours to help the city folk become countrified. Being new to this and being able to spend a lot of time on the tractor, I never expected it to be so calming and therapeutic. I call it "Tractor Serenity".
