Hello & Help - I need to change the hydraulic fluid on the TN 70 I recently bought. Can anyone help me with where the drain plugs are? I have been told there are 4 - I only see two

Thanks

well i own a tn70 great tractor i might add. as far as i know there are only 2 plugs one is under the trans and the other is in the back can't miss them the only plugs there. make sure you have a lage drain pan you will have around 11 gallons of fluid comming out. it takes 11.4 gallons to refill. the rear plug has a magnet to collect metal so pay close att and see whats on the magnet. what year is your tn70

one other thing you might consider putting a extra fuel filter in the line going to pump i took a pic of mine. these pumps are very expensive to fix or replace. DSC00483.jpg

What happened with your pump? I've not heard of anyone else having pump issues from bad fuel.

it's not bad fuel so much as trash getting by the factory filter. our nh dealler has had some problems and the tech told me it would be a good ideal to put extra filter. i have not had any trouble with mine.

I have found some black plastic bits in the screen atop the lift pump of my TN55. Presumably the bits came from the factory when the fuel tank was tapped for fittings, etc. It looks like like your filter would catch the bits before they get to the lift pump screen.
