Did a quick 36 mile ride this morning before I start working around the yard. Saw a big fluffy bobcat but it ran before I got camera out.

Was funny too because there were a LOT of new CF Moto's out today again.
Funny how many atv's you can sell when you don't gouge your customers, LOL

Since I was being a big spender with my $14 windshield wiper install, I noticed there was an unused hole in a bracket on the roll bar so I added a 5 inch Grote convex mirror.
Now when I fold in the outside mirrors when I'm in the single track bush trails I can see if the other riders are still behind me.
Yup. A mirror mounted in that position is the only way to go if you ride in trees and brush.

Only complaint so far is like all other side by sides, it does get warm in the cockpit on hot summer days in tight technical riding, but not nearly as hot as a Polaris.
An advantage to my EV...it doesn't heat up like most SxS.

Definitely only for work around the place. Exactly what we needed, but I'm sure anyone who rides trails wouldn't be happy.

Well I don't know what the range is but an EV would be cool for a trail ride where there is wildlife. You'd probably get to see more.

Maybe. Around here the deer and antelope have gotten so used to the sound of engines that they ignore them. Turn the engine off - like I do to get a sharp photo - and they alert immediately. I suspect that an EV - no sound but tires on dirt or brush or branches on the sides of the vehicle - would alarm wildlife more than the sound of engine.

Just got back from a little night ride. I guess I trust the quality of my CF Moto, 43 miles in the bush by myself.
The stock lights are incredible.

It's only about 40 miles. My perimeter is about a mile, so I can make quite a few laps around the property. Takes 8 hours to charge on regular outlet. Good for our needs, but it is for work, not fun.

We've kicked up a few deer. You notice the other sounds a lot more than with a gas or diesel ride. Every squeak sounds loud.

Did another short ride today to see more fall colors.

Only thing scary is all the electronics in it like the push button shifter.

But I love how the interior is all automotive/truck style from seats to controls.

But for comparison, here in Ontario Canada that is 32 thousand. Loaded. Even has turn signals, horn, stereo, power windows, 5 year warranty, everything.
Can Am defender is 40 thousand and Polaris Expedition is 50.

Is that comparison apples to apples? I noticed when I was shopping that the 'name' brands charged extra for almost everything. Mine came with roof, winch and windshield in the base price. I could have purchase two for the price of the Kinetic similarly equipped.

Well they all have full cabs and climate control. Glass windows. CF has power windows, not sure of the others?
CF comes with the 4500 pound winch standard.
The front windshield lifts via a power switch.
It has a sliding rear window like a truck.
Has powered box lift standard.
Has LED lights, turn signals, horn, fold down arm rest with cup holders, rear view mirrors, stereo, LCD dash display with navigation. All standard.
Most of that is optional or not available on others that are 8 to 18 thousand more. And CH has a 5 year warranty (one year bumper to bumper and 4 more powertrain)

They aren't at dealers yet so I can't comment on how it drives. But I will say, just as with my current Z-Force...no it doesn't have the horespower of the others and won't win a drag race. And the suspension probably won't be as plush as the Polaris. But my bike goes everywhere all the others do on our rides.

For me, I like all the extra features over having bragging rights of being the fastest in the group.

I see a lot of CFMOTO UTVs out here... And will likely consider them when we go that route. For now, the Polaris ATV does what I need done.

I'm more concerned about utility than anything else... Especially when I see where I could spend the $10k I saved, elsewhere on my property

Same up here. People are shopping with their wallets now because every time I go riding now I am seeing far more CF Moto's than any other brand up here now. ATV's and side by sides.
Last year I would have seen...0 LOL

Well decided not going to get the U10 Highland at this point. Ended up buying that snowblower setup for my Kubota RTV.
But the kids said they wanted another atv to replace my old Polaris Sportsman that is pretty much getting wore out. So we decided on the C-Force 800 Touring in Lava orange. Will make a good companion to my Z-Force 950
Now just gotta wait for it to quit snowing and the highways to stay open so we can go pick it up. Told my dealer I'll pick it up some time by May hopefully, LOL

That the RTV can run a snowblower is so cool.

That ATV is nice, but that Highland is a lot nicer; it was kind of you to consider the children.

Ya, I wanted a Highland, now that I don't want to trail ride my RTV any more because it lost a few inches of ground clearance with that K-Connect and driveshaft under it. Now I got no air conditioning in the summer.

We were going to rebuild my Sportsman to have as our second machine. It has been absolutely bulletproof since 2004 and still looks like new and still runs and drives......but it is completely wore out, LOL
It needs ball joints, all the suspension bushings, wheel bearings (which is why it peeled front tires off), U-joints and yokes all got slop in them and the engine fan sounds like it is grinding itself to death, LOL But somehow it still gets me home every time.
