Looks like an great job with the framing. It's going to a good looking building. I really like the shaker style roof.

Interesting structure. Are you going to have sheet metal on the sides? Is that your plan or a bought plan?

BEAUTIFUL - That looks great. I love the look of post and beam...BTW, does that save any cost of materials by doing it post and beam versus traditional lumber? Is this a crew you hired or are you doing it yourself...

Building a Small Barn/shed is our next project....oh and love the Willys truck.

thanks, the jeep is a 1960 w the hurricane f-head 6 cyl, its a beast, less than 30k original on that bad boy, factory meyers plow...........not sure if the framing is any less than conventional, its a kit from Sigfridson and they are not much if any less than most other types of framing. Look at their website they have very cool stuff if you have a deep wallet and not afraid to reach into it. Mine will have 10' ceilings and transoms in the front....

for now

You're moving along nicely. That looks like one heck of a scary roof. How many times did you slide down to those stop boards?

I've never seen that angular pattern on every set of horizontal boards, is there a term for that building method?

That old truck in the background looks great, too. I love those oldies. Some day I'll restore a '43 Ford or similar. Or maybe I'll just finish the projects I have already..

Unusual for me too. Very similiar to the way Japanese frame out their houses. Never have seen that here in East Texas. Most everything is just framed up other than log homes or some shop buildings are pole framed but not like that. No doubt it looks plenty beefy and a nice structure.
