New Plow

/ New Plow #11
My pivot pins were pretty much rusted solid. Plow wouldn't move so I put some heat to it then penetrating oil thenpushed/pulled it against a tree and finally broke it loose. I plan on replacing them at the end of the season if I can get them out.

/ New Plow #12
Replace them now, before it gets expensive.

When I broke mine, I tried a propane torch. NO way that was going to work.

I took the plow to a welder and they used am Oxy/Propane torch to cut everything out. Lots and lots of heat and a BFH finally got everything removed. Both pins were almost welded in because of the rust.

After welding replacement tubes on both the plow and frame, put the new pins (w/grease fittings) in. Pumped lots of grease into the new pins to hopefully prevent rust.
