Gixxergary,
I have the same tractor and bucket and was wondering if you could guide me on the length you selected for your Piranha tooth bar?
I measured the inside dimension and depending on where you measure, it is between 58 1/16" to 58 1/2" wide. I'm going to attach a picture to help explain...if you measure the vertical sides of the bucket it is exactly 58 1/2"......if you account for the thickness of the welded reinforcements where the vertical sides meets the horizontal bottom, it is 58 1/16". Hopefully the attached picture will help show what I'm explaining. Based on those funky welded reinforcement, what lenght did you order? I can do metal fabrication so, if I need to extend the reinforcement to make a solid mounting surface at 58 1/16" wide, that will not be a problem.

BTW...I had a BX25 with the Piranha tooth bar and it turned that maching into an animal!!! I've since upgraged to a B2650, sold my BX's Piranha tooth bar and NEED to have it back on my new bucket. This tooth bar is far too economical and it performs so awesome that it is hard not to have one on hand!!!!!
Thanks!
On both counts... I would contact Harry at BXpanded directly and make sure he fully understands your requirements. He is great to deal with.I have a bolt on replacement cutting edge. Can a piranha bar fit over it?

So what did he say about your situation? I will be ordering the same tractor/60" bucket, and would like to order/buy the PTB and have it when the tractor is delivered.

I provided both dimensions and a photo. When I received my PTB, the ears were welded to accomodate the smaller dimension. I asked before installing because it looked like the ears would need to substantially bend during installation and I was told that this is ok and normal for the install. Long story short, I installed using a clamp to help pre-bend the ears and all is working as it should. In the future, I may weld a piece of plate on the inside of the bucket where the PTB ear holes are so the ear / tabs do not need to bend as much and installation won't require the use of clamps. Here are a couple of photos of mine installed.
Also, I never thought about this until after I finished my install but, if you have the capability of welding thick steel, I might see if he will provide the tooth bar cut to lenght and the ear tabs un-welded. In my case, I would have preferred that for my install, as I could have welded the tabs in the perfect spot on the tooth bar and I wouldn't need to weld any plate spacers in the bucket (which is probablly overkill but that's the way I roll :thumbsup
Hands down...bar none....this PTB is by bar the best you can buy for your money and then some!!!!!!!!!!! Turned both my BX and now my B into a digging animal!!!!!!!!
