Wow bit of a learning curve but this thing cuts some brush. Haven't cut anything big yet but it goes right through the multi floral roses and rougher stuff I don't like driving the tractor over.

That's a heck f a mower! Looks like it should get some serious work dne in a hurry!
What's the make and model of the mower? How much flow and pressure does your machine have? What is the average size max diameter that you can efficiently tale down? (I realize you just got it and may not have enough seat time yet to answer the last question :) )
Congrats! Looks like a cool toy.

Cant answer the last one yet but in 1-2 inch brush it cuts very effenciently. That is as big as I have done so far. My machine is rated at 19.6 gpm and the machine is rated to 20 gpm. It is a Prowler badged CID brand mower. I will have to find the model but it is 72 in.

It will see some heavier stuff this weekend when I take it to my property.

We have jobs linded up for it on saturday and sunday.

Thanks for the reply, I'm looking forward to hearing some more about how you like it after getting a little more time in the saddle :D

I can say it dosent really compare to a forestry head but it cost 30+k less too. I ran an ASV forestry package a few years ago and it did a much better job of eating everything to the ground. For what this thing is though it rocks in what I have put it in so far.

Had it out and did a steep job into a pond, took down a few trees and Grubbed a bit. It cut everything I put too it including an 8is inch ceadar. It was not designed to cut that ceadar and it was aparent but it did it. even chopped it up. But again it was aparent it was not designed to .

The good about it is when cutting grass and trees to 3 inches you just mow and chop. No need to stop or slow down. some of the 4-6 inchers were tough and diddnt just lop off and suck in.

Now to blow this out of the watter. I hit some 8inchish fresh cut limbs that I diddnt see on the ground and it ate them up. but I got off of them caus it scared the crap out of me!!

All in all I still dont compleetly know its limitations because I havent used it enough. When it flings stuff it really throws them.

That's incredible that it can take down small trees that big

Seems like a good value for the price you paid vs what it can get done.
