After a month of comparisons, we finally pulled the trigger and bought a new tractor today.
We opted for the Massey 1742 with cab, loader, backhoe and 3point snowblower, it is a new 2015 that they needed to liquidate and we got some amazing discounts on. The backhoe is being built now and they are doing a few upgrades, stereo, industrial tires, new battery, thumb, etc. should be ready for delivery in about 3 weeks. trading in my JD 2210, although I still have a few green in our fleet, couldn't wait for a 4 month delivery date..
It really helped that my best friends dad sold his dealership to Butler/ Agco a few years ago, but continues to work for them for awhile.
I hope we will be satisfied with our new purchase, it barely edged out the L series Kubota but we were able to go up to the next size and comparably equipped for the same price, so it fit our budget well.
