I'm waiting for delivery of my new BX 2370 with FEL and drive-over 60" deck.
I'm wondering if the loader should be off the tractor when mounting/dismounting the mower deck?
Can't seem to find any info on it and the dealer is closed right now.

Any advice from owners on starting tips cold weather, operating the loader tips and mower maintenance would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I'm not familar with the new models, but suspect you can drive over the MMM with the loader on (check with dealer or in the manual).

I can tell you if you mow with the FEL on, make sure you keep the tips of the bucket where you can see them! The FEL will poke nice holes in any shed you get too close too (don't ask me how I know this).

As for starting, engage the glow plugs for a few seconds and it will fire right off in cold weather.

I would advise to not have the loader on when driving over the deck, the extra weight adds additional strain to the deck. Yes, they are made to be driven over but the are not invincible.

Also, you want to make your tractor as light as possible while mowing so as to not leave marks. Mower on / FEL off

It's super easy to take the loader off once you do it a couple of times.

Even on larger Kubotas, removing and later re-installing a loader is easy. First time or two, sort of tricky, but after you've done it 3 or 4 times, it becomes a few minute job. Just have a firm, level flat surface to work over. Oh, read the owner's manual. It will tell you pretty much everything you need to safely operate, and enjoy, your tractor.
