As I was serching the net for info. on sub compact tractors with FEL,MMM and rear mount snow blower for my 3 acre property and I stumbled onto this site. I started reading the posts and found that it was very intesting, helpful and fun so I made the move and joined. I do feel a bit silly but here I am to give it a try.

I did look at Kubota BX2350, NH TZ25DA and AGCO ST22A and have the AGCO on order. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I don't know why you'd feel silly, Jimmy. We have a lot of fun, make lots of new friends, and learn a lot from each other, so we're glad to have you join us.

Myself and many others have joined before owning a tractor. I researched many different tractos on TBN and ended up with the MF version of the ST22A (the MF GC2300). I am very happy with my GC and I hope you are just as happy with the ST.

Welcome!! I noticed the title of your post. It was very similar to my first thread, "New member, no tractor". You have one important difference though. You have a brand new shiny tractor on the way!! Congratulations!! I'm not too familiar with AGCO tractors. Yes, do post some pictures when you can. Keep us posted on how things are going. Oh, and don't feel silly. This forum seems to be, for the most part, one big happy family. Well. . .actually better than a family. We don't torture each other like family members often do.;)

I gotta disagree with you on that statement. Everytime somebody posts with "looky what I got" or worse "look what I made" it's pure torture. This site makes my wish list grow way past any logic. All the cool stuff you can see here just makes my mouth water - doesn't matter I don't need it .... it's cool and I want it. 56 yrs old going on 12 sometimes.

Welcome Jim. I too am new to this site. Excellent exchange of ideas and if you have a question someone has already been there and an answer will soon be posted. Some great brain food too.

Well, I guess I meant we don't ridicule each other and put down other people's ideas and belongings. This is what I've seen on other forums. But you're right; this forum often is torture by the fact that it will dramatically increase your wish list. I have found my self wanting tools (toys) that I never even knew existed until I joined this forum (ie Plasma cutter). But I guess that's a good kind of "toture". You may get so many ideas, project plans, and tips that you'll wish you had a $1,000,000.00 slush fund for your new toys to play with. BTW, don't tell your spouse they're toys; say they're tools that you NEED to do WORK.;)

I have noticed that in this forum. It appears to be good fun that you can learn from. I just learned that tools I need to work and toys I don't. Good advice. And yes as wish lists grow it can be "torture" but it is much better than having no wishes at all.
