New member needs help!!

Good Morning! I have an SLT 1554 Cub Cadet and I am rebuilding the steering(bushings,steering gear...). It looks to me the mower clutch needs to come off in order to get to 1 or 2 bolts. I really don`t want to pull the engine, so my question is...How does a person get the clutch off the engine shaft?? Thank you for any assistance or rer-direction in this matter...

May be that you are overdoing that dis-assembly..? might go to PDF Manual Web Archive , enter your model number and serial number - download a parts manual and chk the steering section for details - may help.
