New member from Ohio/Germany

Hello everyone! I am active duty military stationed in North Rhein Westphalia Germany. I have lived most of my life in a suburb type enviroment. Two years ago, my wife and I bought a nice piece of land in our hometown that is mostly wooded. Our plan is to build a house there eventually. Spring came, and I was about a week from buying my first chainsaw to get started on our road when I got the email I had orders to Germany. Luckily forest pretty much takes care of itself, so for the next couple years we are in a prolonged planning stage haha. There is one part we cleared where we had our wedding. I have some nice before and after pics I will post later in the land clearing section.

This looks like a great online community and I look forward to having the opportunity to ask a bunch of bonehead questions in the future!
