I checked on our orders this morning and we have no delivery dates showing still says TBD. I'm sure there will be units at the Louisville show to look at, hopefully will be arriving at dealers lots about the same time.

Interestingly enough, I ordered a M9 5 months ago, had it built and it came through with the M95 engine.

Personally, I don't like the sloped hood but I do like the corner post exhaust (like our 105S). My prime motive for getting the old style was the deleting of the square hood.

I would have preferred the loader on the 105 (self leveling), but the 1215 loader is plenty strong. I haven't found the end of the loader yet. It handles ton pallets on the (Kubota) forks no problem and 2 rounds at a time. That's good enough for me.

I've no problem with the old style climate control, actually, I prefer (no) air outlets in the dash area, especially at knee height. The dash is a little to futuristic for me. Farmers like old style interiors, at least I do. The higher mounted lights are nice but I just added 2 extra forward facing halogens on the M9 and most often I don't use the grill mounted lights anyway...cornering lights, what for?? Cornering lights sound like an ad for a 1965 Lincoln Town Car. Your cab mounted lights should be angled out for turning in the field at night, hence, 2 forward and 2 angled outboard. The pantograph wiper is an added plus, The old style Kubota cowl mounted wiper is too low to be of much use. I would have preferred a roof mounted wiper, straight arm though. All in all, the old style M9 is fine for this farmer, besides I have the 105 too.

The National Farm Machinery Show and Championship Tractor Pull are at the Kentucky Exposition Center February 15-18. Should be a lot to see there. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Neil,
Did you open the hood on the new M-series that you have at the PA Farm Show? I thought that it was very sloppy. It wobbled around and felt like a strong crosswind would take it off. I assume that this is a pre-production glitch.

No I did not. I am headed back up there today. I'll take a look at it and see. I think our factory guy will also be there thoughout the week.
