New M-Series Price Check

I was wondering if some of you who got quotes for the new 5040/6040/7040 Kubotas would be interested in sharing some of the prices you've been seeing, as I see that the price can differ substantially, even in the same geographic area. Anything would be a help. Please include whether or not it was 2wd/4wd, rops/cab, etc.

Try Star Equipment in Hammond, LA. I have been shopping the L series and they have beat all others by $500.00-1200.00 on a 4330. Also, have a friend south of Alexandria who bought from Star about two years ago for the price.

Quotes from my dealer (all are 4wd with hyraulic shuttle and loader):

M5040 ROPS - $26,600
M5040 CAB - $32,700

M6040 ROPS - $28,300
M6040 CAB - $34,450

M7040 ROPS - $29,700
M7040 CAB - $35,800

These are "unnegotiated" prices, so I expect the actual price I would pay would likely be slightly less than this.

I finally got to try out an M6040 yesterday and I love it! Also got some prices.

4WD M6040: His best price was $22K even w/o tax.

2WD M6040: Best price was 19.5K including tax.

2WD M5040: Best price was 17.6K including tax.

Hope that helps some of you out...all I have to do now is try out a NH TN60 to make my decision, but I love the new Kubota's. I'm 6'4" and 350lbs and I had room to spare on it...what a tractor!

I finally got to try out an M6040 yesterday and I love it! Also got some prices.

4WD M6040: His best price was $22K even w/o tax.

2WD M6040: Best price was 19.5K including tax.

2WD M5040: Best price was 17.6K including tax.
