Finished the loader forks today. I tried to do it as low cost and light as possible. The local blacksmith shop supplied the 3" channel and welding labor for a total of $116.00. Each fork is 22 lbs, 42" long and the upright is 24". Both the blacksmith and I agree that they will probably hold 500 lbs or so. If they don't we will re-make them out of 4". The pictures should be obvious. Also note the low cost loader hooks. They worked for the first job which was to take the grill off the deck and around to the shop for cleaning. What do you think, look alright?;)
