New Kubota

Hi everyone,

My son is in the market for a new tractor. Does anyone know if the (2007) BH-90 that came with my L 3130 fit on a new Kubota or any other brand for that matter of the appropriate size, providing it had the right frame adapter and hydraulics installed. That way we could share the backhoe. Thanks for any help.

I had a BH90 on my L3430. When I traded it for an MX5800, the dealer told me the BH90 would fit both my MX and L6060 tractors. Although the BH90 would have fit, I opted for the newer BH92 instead. With the proper frame mount and hydraulic kits, the BH90 and BH92 hoes will fit many L and MX series Kubotas.

Can you drive your L3130 with hoe attached to your son's place? If not, be aware the BH90 can be difficult to transport when off a tractor. The hydraulic cylinder bleed down makes it awkward to block and properly chain down on a trailer or pickup. Also, the BH90 weighs close to 2000#. Make sure you have a way to lift it off the trailer. I used to share the BH90 with a friend 100+ miles away. From experience, we found the best way to transport was to use a 9000# capacity trailer to carry the tractor with the hoe attached.
