Have 40 acres that will need bush hogging and will be hauling some round bales that weigh 6-800 lbs. I have researched til I am blue in the face and am still in a quandry as to what to buy. Any input will be appreciated. I am also trying to make my mind up about a cab.

If you've got the budget, one of the mid-size M-series Kubota's with cab would probably make you a happy camper. That's large enough you could operate a wing-type brush mower... you'll need it if you're mowing much of that 40 acres. You can also get a loader that would easily handle those round bales... in fact you could put a spear on each end and haul 2 bales at a time. With a loader, you'd definitely want 4WD, though.

I'm partial to orange tractors, but you can find some great JD, NH, and MF equipment in the 60-90 hp range also. Actually, a good dealer probably means more than which brand... they all make quality equipment.

If you are making hay, a cab tractor makes life a whole lot more civilized. Less dust, noise, climate control, etc.

Look at the mahindra 3015. Great tractor.

Are you sure about the weight of the round bales? From what I have been told some round bales can go up to 1,500# or more. I would find out about that before making a decision.
