That's a sharp looking wagon Jack! I saw the running gear at a Northern Tool store on vacation but couldn't bring it back with me. I'm surprised TSC doesn't sell that sized gear.

Nice work /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

does tsc sell any sized wagon gears? i know central tractor used to sell fullsized ones but i dont recall ever seeing them at TSC

TSC does sell wagons but instead of being too big, they're too small. They have a line of lawn tractor sized wagons but for the money I'd much rather have something like what is shown in this thread /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

hmm yea i wouldnt want no lawn tractor sized piece of junk, i would like to pick up another running gear someday and build like a barge box for moving junk around.

Local TSC had a truckload of full-sized gears stacked up a couple of years ago.

RobS, What Northern Tool were you looking at, I've seen the ones that they sell and they're not even close to the quality of the KORY wagon. The ones I saw at Northern Tool and the ones they have in their catalogue are really light weight compared to the KORY.

Where did you end up getting your wagon and how much? I saw in another thread that Harbor Freight is selling something similar/identical. Looking forward to your pics /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Picked the wagon up at Cecilia Tractor Repair, it used to be an International dealership till in the 60's. The wagon was $595 and I'll have about $200 in lumber and parts for the bed. This is going to wind up being expensive, but the wagon is a real piece of machinery.
The man I bought it from had been there since the 40's and he showed me his collection of cub cadets, nine of them I think, he had a cub lowboy that they had restored that they had sold originally. My brother and I were there about an hour, and going through the old buildings out back was like going back in time, old machinery and parts everywhere. He wants me to get him a pic of the wagon when it's done, I'll take it to him and take my camera when I go back.

I guess that's a good price as the Harbor Freight model was $599. I'm still a bit hesitant to shell out that kind of cash for what will likely be nothing more than a hay ride toy for us. I've seen used hayracks for $500, hoping to find that $300 bargain /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Rob - maybe it's time to pony up the bucks. There is that whole time value of money thing - if you don't spend it, you don't get to enjoy it. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Wishing I had a dump wagon right now - 20 yards of topsoil in my driveway to grade around the new pavement. It seems that I was a little too conservative in my estimation so I'll have a few yards left over. It's going to be many trips to the back 40 since my FEL holds between 1/4 and 1/3 of a yard. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Yeah, that is a lot of money, my wallet is still hurting, but I haven't seen anything in its class that looks that substantial. The Kory 3000 has cone roller bearings and 5 lug hubs like the larger wagons, should last me forever. I'll be pulling it behind the Kubota, so gotta have class following class. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Where I bought this one, they had a stack of new 5 and 6 ton wagons the 5 ton wagon was $579 with new wheels but no tires.

I'm not sure how to post a link to a different forum, but check out Low-Cost Harbor Freight Wagon Log Carrier in the Build It Yourself Forum to show a use of the lowest cost Harbor Freight wagon gear.

Hi. I'm up in Vermont and we don't have a local Kory dealer that stock these things. I approached a local equipment dealer on getting them, but I don't think he will. I don't think Farm and Fleet would send it up here, so I'm limited to the lighter weight options from companies like Farmtek, etc. Has anyone found a source for these little Kory's that will ship?
Joe
