New Kioti DK40SE HST cab - questions / concerns

Hey James, does the item make it so there is no grease billowing out at the zerk instead of going into the joint? That is my greatest frustration with trying to get grease into zerks/joints- it wants to back out all over the hose tip and takes a second hand to force the hose tip onto the zerk to make the grease go in....
Does it allow access to difficult to access zerks? It looks like it might be difficult to get into some tight access spots, no?

Thanks,

CM

It does CM. It locks on and doesn't leak, and is extremely easy to get off, just push the lever. BUT there are places it cannot go as it is longer than a standard coupler. The two stupid zerks that should be 90 degree zerks under the floorboards wont be able to be reached by this as they are a pain with a regular coupler. I am thinking about ordering some 90's to replace them.

That's possible. I tend to like it loose enough to fit onto the zerk without having to pry it loose when done. I usually, when I can get my other *paw in place, hold the tip against the zerk to prevent blowback as needed.

*paw, get it; Kioti, paw?! :D:eek: Coyote Machine.....paw....ha, ha.....

I see. I generally like it set tight enough that I have to kind of pivot it on to the zerk so that it locks securely.

What are the two difficult zerks under the floorboards? Maybe there's a couple I'm not servicing. I've only found three under the tractor - one on each knuckle, and one in the center of the front axle.

There are a couple that are difficult to get to on the BH, but I usually just turn the BH on and straighten and drop the boom while it is warming up, and then lock the BH back up before pulling out of the shop.

center pivot on front axle has 2.. front and rear sides of the front axle... one on each steering knuckle. one for brakes on the left side, under the floorboards and one for something I cant remember what on the right side under the floorboards. And the ones on the 3pt draft actuater and the jackscrews. I can't remember how many but it is several on the back.
