New JD sub-compact series?

Any truth to the rumors that JD is developing a new sub-compact garden tractor series to replace the current 425-445-455 to compete closer to the Kubota BX products? No one has been able to verify to my knowlege. Surely, someone knows a JD employee who can comment off the record of course. Looking to replace 445 and would stay with JD if they had a product hitting the market as a 2001/2 early next year. Otherwise, I will be looking at the Kubota.

When I was looking to replace my 425AWS last spring my dealer told me Deere would soon be coming out with a new line to replace the 400 series. I decided to wait. Later he told me that after all the problems Deere had rushing the 4000 series to market they decided to delay the tractors. I was told they would be out next year. Chris
